Notes From Nancarrow 

Our first week back open was an eventful one. Last weekend our friends at Cornwall Wildlife Trust hosted their ‘Your Shore Conference’ which celebrated the people and projects that are helping to preserve and rewild our coastline. Thursday night saw the return of the Great Cornish Food Awards, which brought together some of the brightest and best with the Cornish Food & Drink sector, with awards being presented to the likes of Origin Cofee, Tregothnan, Newquay Orchard & Lynher Dairies.

In between were our first Feast & Sunday Roast of 2025. It’s been wonderful to see people back on the farm again!

The first of our February Farm Suppers is all set for tonight. A fresh new menu has just landed and will carry us through the next 4 weeks with seasonal small plates joined by daily specials from the butchery, veg garden and larder. Spring Weekender, Easter & More! 

We set ourselves a target to release dates and tickets on the 1st of each month, 2 months in advance. So here it is (1 week late) our April events calendar!

On the 5th and 6th April, we will be welcoming a bunch of fantastic local producers and craftspeople for our Spring Weekender. Join us for coffee and a woodfired brunch, or a lazy lunch in the barn on both Saturday & Sunday.

There’s lots in store for Easter weekend. A lunch on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, sandwiching our Easter Feast which takes place on Saturday night. Dinner Bed & Breakfast is available for the Feast. Call us if you’d like to extend your stay for the weekend.

Our Friday Farm lunches, which kick off on 14th February, extend to Wednesdays from 10th April.

COMING SOON – SUMMER STAYS 

Over the years we’ve often been asked whether we offer short stays on the farm. This year we are pleased to confirm they will indeed be available!

Commencing in June and based on 3 nights (Tuesday check in – Friday checkout), Stays will be available for groups who’d like to take over our Old Mill, or individuals hoping to extend their Dinner Bed & Breakfast stay. We will have regular lunches and suppers taking place throughout the season, enabling you to combine great food with a base smack bang in the middle of beautiful Cornwall.
