A Day at Nancarrow
Immerse yourself and learn new skills on our organic farm
In 2025 we’re inviting guests behind-the-scenes for exclusive workshops and dining experiences throughout the year.
During your ‘day at Nancarrow’, guests will learn how food is produced using nature-friendly and regenerative techniques, get hands-on with pasta, butchery, or bread-making workshops, and enjoy homegrown food from our farm kitchen!
Workshops will be limited to 10 guests per event and will be based in The Old Mill. Each session will begin with tea and coffee and an introduction to the day and, as you would expect, includes a hearty Farm lunch served in the Oak Barn.

Days at Nancarrow are £125 per person which includes tea, coffee and snacks on arrival, your workshop with the Nancarrow team, and a hearty 2-course Farm lunch. We will also have the option for you to upgrade to Supper or even Dinner, Bed and Breakfast if you’d like to stay a little longer!
If you’re thinking about purchasing a day as a gift, much like our other vouchers, you can chose from each any e-voucher, or a screen printed card and envelope which will be sent via first class post.

Hog in a Day
An introduction to the Nancarrow on-farm Butchery & our Organic hogget (a mature lamb).
Over the course of the day, you will take part in a hands-on workshop and develop some basic butchery skills, learning how to break down a whole carcass into showstopping roasting joints & steaks. You will use produce from the gardens and hedgerows to make stuffing, and sausages with our favourite merguez recipe.
Enjoy a Farm Lunch with the rest of the group featuring a ‘here’s one we made earlier’ – Stuffed Hogget leg and other tasty spring dishes from the farm.
Passion for Pasta
In this workshop, we will be making dough from scratch and learning a range of shaped and filled pasta dishes from our in-house pasta masters. Pappardelle, Tagliatelle, Ravioli, Tortellini, Agnolotti. Garganelli and Sardinian gnocchi. Take your pasta sauce to new levels by foraging ingredients from the farm.

Midsummer Menu
In this two-day course, you will learn how to cook an entire feast. We will be scaling down some of our favourite feast menus to suit a table for 6. From our bread and smoked butter, a seasonal summer starter, sharing feast-style main and dessert, you’ll have everything you need to host your very own Midsummer Feast with a Nancarrow twist!
Cows, Meadows & Dune Safari
An afternoon tour to meet the herd, learn about native breeds, meadow restoration and conservation grazing. This will be followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of Penhale Nature Reserve where our cattle are helping to rewild the largest in-land dune system in Europe.
Tickets include afternoon refreshments and an evening 3-course Supper in the Oak Barn.
