After months of hard work (as well as the consumption of many pasties and countless games of football over lunch breaks) the new butchery and larder space is nearly complete. It’ll be ready just in the nick of time too, as we’re hosting our Smoking & Curing Workshop in it next week!
We can already tell that it’s going to be a great addition to the farm, giving us a brilliant space in which to gather together and learn new skills in our farm workshops, whether it’s a session of nose-to-tail butchery or learning the art of preserving.
On 9th March, feast guests are invited to celebrate the opening of the Butchery & Larder with us. We’ll be enjoying a few drinks in the new space and tasting some of the charcuterie delights from Steve Lamb’s Smoking & Curing Workshop (which is being held earlier that same day) before moving over to the courtyard for more nibbles and bubbles! We hope to see you there!
